HR Generalist (Recruitment Focus)

We are a well-established company (since 1985), providing public relations services to MNCs expanding into Asia. Based in Singapore, our network of more than 50 full-time contract staff work virtually across six Southeast Asian countries, as well as India and Australia. We are an ambitious and focused team dedicated to learning and professionalism in this very exciting region.

We are looking for an HR Generalist with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition. The ideal profile has proven experience in hiring niche and hard to fill roles and is confident in proactive sourcing and outreach. This role involves initiating candidate conversations, building strong relationships, and engaging both active and passive talent in a fast paced environment. The role requires a strong understanding of what motivates people and the ability to build quick connections. It also involves presenting the company’s value proposition to potential hires and exciting them about a possible role with the company. This is a full time, virtual contract position.

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)

  • Take full ownership of end to end recruitment, combining job postings with strong proactive sourcing and outreach

  • Strong emphasis on proactive outreach through LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and professional networks

  • Identify and engage both active and passive candidates to build a strong pipeline for niche and hard to fill roles

  • Initiate candidate conversations and consistently follow up to generate interest and sustain engagement

  • Conduct screening and exploratory interviews to assess fit, motivation, and alignment with role requirements

  • Manage job advertisements while also driving direct sourcing efforts

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and refine candidate profiles

  • Ensure a strong candidate experience through timely communication, updates, and feedback throughout the process

Onboarding and Employee Development (Secondary Focus)

  • Support onboarding activities for new hires to ensure smooth integration and successful confirmation

  • Assist in providing guidance and information to new employees during their transition into the company

  • Coordinate onboarding training programs, including company philosophy, culture, and operational expectations

  • Support training on internal methodologies, templates, and documentation to ensure consistency across teams

  • Contribute to internal communications that promote company values, updates, and organizational direction

Performance Management

  • Assist in coordinating performance review processes, including tracking and follow ups

  • Support managers and employees in performance discussions and improvement plans when required

  • Help identify training and development needs and assist in organizing relevant development programs

HR Initiatives

  • Support HR projects aligned with organizational and business goals

  • Assist in implementation of HR systems and process improvements

  • Contribute to employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Support coordination of Culture Committee activities and engagement programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment and talent acquisition

  • Proven experience in hiring niche, specialist, or hard to fill roles

  • Strong capability in proactive sourcing and outreach

  • Experience working with hiring managers and managing end to end recruitment processes

  • Experience in MNC or international organization is strongly preferred

  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn, job boards, and professional networks

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

  • Highly proactive, organized, and able to manage priorities effectively

  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently in a remote setup
