Training and Staff Development Executive – Priority Consultants
We are a well-established company (since 1985), providing public relations services to MNCs expanding into Asia. Based in Singapore, our network of more than 50 full-time contract staff work virtually across six Southeast Asian countries, as well as India and Australia. We are an ambitious and focused team dedicated to learning and professionalism in this very exciting region.
We are looking for a dynamic Training and Staff Development Executive to join us supporting our proactive recruitment outreach. This means a strong track record, understanding what motivates people, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be able to present our value proposition to potential candidates and excite them about a possible role with the company. This is a full-time, virtual contract position.
Onboarding and Employee Development (Primary Focus)
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and leading to a successful confirmation.
- Provide necessary information and support to new employees as they integrate into the company.
- Coordinate the onboarding training regime including awareness building around the company’s philosophy and workplace culture.
- Train all staff in the company’s methodology and the templates and documentation already in place to deliver consistent and sustained results.
- Contribute to, and help expand, the internal communications program to educate all staff on the company’s history, value proposition, and commercial strengths.
Performance Management
- Coordinate and assist in the performance review process, including tracking and following up on evaluations.
- Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement plans.
- Help identify training and development needs and assist in organizing appropriate programs.
HR Initiatives
- Participate in the development and execution of HR projects and initiatives that support the organization’s strategic goals.
- Assist with the implementation of HR systems and processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and employee engagement initiatives within the organization.
Talent Acquisition (Secondary Focus)
- Support proactive recruitment by identifying candidates through LinkedIn and other channels (e.g., job boards, social media, networking), engaging with them, and establishing two-way communication.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial presentations and exploratory discussions before coordinating with hiring managers for subsequent interviews.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication and providing regular feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration.
- 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience with an MNC organization.
- Excellent technical skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and online platforms (e.g., Zoho).
- Strong verbal and written English.
- Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks.
- Must be a disciplined team player with strong initiative.
